Under the supervision of the Manager, Application Systems, the Associate Analyst, Applications Systems is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating the organization’s business systems and client needs. This position provides support in the security, availability, accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of systems; and analyzes problems to determine root cause and proposes and implements tested solutions. The position also helps in documenting systems and procedures, providing client training and support, and assisting in developing recommendations concerning the use and development of back office, e-commerce, and web-based systems. The Analyst contributes to the organization’s goals by ensuring that technical solutions parallel strategic initiatives.

Your Day:

  • Assist with system management, application support, and integration functions.

  • Provide first-class customer and client support on all matters related to Technology services including first and second tier service desk support and in-depth support of specified back-office, e-commerce and web-based systems, processes and/or departments.

  • Provide support in testing, validating, and documenting the performance of application systems.

  • Work with colleagues to provide guidance to others in the use of assigned systems including training, client support, instructing and supporting other Technology Division staff, and client procedure development.

  • Possess and apply general knowledge of systems and business processes, and knowledge of a specified subset of systems and processes to inform work and recommendations.

  • Maintain technical proficiency through professional development, user groups and peer interaction.

  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review system capabilities, workflow, and application limitations.

  • Work closely with Developers, Designers, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure teams in effort to achieve business goals.

  • Attends training seminars, workshops, and other meetings on behalf of Technology Division.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Management Systems; or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Up to 2 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, or at least 4 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

  • Experience with planning and project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Customer Relationship Management, General Ledger, ERP systems, individual consumer-based system, or consumer contact tracking.

  • Experience with Agile development processes and methodologies, Sprint planning, Scrum Master, etc.

  • Experience with documentation and presentation tools such as Visio, Axure, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Experience with methods, techniques, and procedures necessary to obtain and evaluate user/business requirements, to design, develop document and implement application systems.

  • Technology agnostic with strong desire to understand and learn new systems.

  • Ability to speak with customers, learn applications thoroughly and make changes as needed.

  • Ability to manage, support and integrate off the shelf applications.

  • Ability to share knowledge with the organization.

Let Us Know if You Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

  • Experience developing and documenting reports or data extracts starting from an end user request using report writer tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, and NetSuite.

  • Knowledge of data analysis within various SQL environments - ability to relate that knowledge to the application layer.

  • Ability to write/analyze SQL code including stored procedures, triggers, and user defined functions.

  • Understanding of strategy and operations related to technical consulting and delivery of projects.


  • Certified in Dynamics 365 CRM preferred

  • Detailed working knowledge of CRM and customizations preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.

  • Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Work Environment

  • Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and conference settings and routinely uses standard office equipment.

  • Travel Required: Occasional 0-10%
