SUMMARY

Responsible for providing safe and secure transport to SHRM executives and authorized staff through professional and lawful driving behaviors in a properly maintained vehicle. This position is expected to maintain a professional appearance while on assignment to protect the company image and Executive safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide safe, efficient, comfortable transportation for the SHRM Executive to various destinations in the DC Metro and adjacent states, as well as in locations where national events are held.

  • Perform security advances of business and event locations when required

  • Assist in coordinating movement and logistics to support the Executive’s itinerary

  • Maintain vehicle readiness by performing pre-assignment checks and keeps vehicle maintenance records and logs

  • Provides support to staff in assigned project-based work

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum 5 years providing Executive driving support

  • Experience with local road and route traffic patterns and driving highly preferred

  • Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and clean driving record

  • Garage to park vehicle

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.

  • Moderate lifting is required, up to 50 pounds.

  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, and driving

Work environment :

Work is regularly performed in a combination of home office, office and operating a motor vehicle, and routinely uses standard office equipment.
